....and this was our result!!!So not what I had planned....I must learn to leave myself more time to do the actual decorating!!!!
I made this one for my son's 2nd birthday! He had this cute little Gap baseball cap that he wore EVERYWHERE!!! So, I decided to make it into a cake. Not until I finished the hat portion did I realize I had about enough cake to feel him, alone. So. Quickly I made up some cupcakes and decided to use them in the cake theme. I just frosted them white and used red gel frosting and made "baseball stitching". I wasn't sure at first how it would turn out, but I was glad I did. It made the cake perfect! I really love the way this one turned out.
Round cake frosted in pink and pink zingers. Mini chocolate chips in the center. She also said that her friend frosted it in yellow and used yellow zingers and regular chocolate chips and it looked like a sunflower!!! How darling. Thanks Ashley for the cute cake!!!
Cute, right!?! Graham cracker crumbs for the sand (much better than my Golden Oreo's attempt at sand :) )

Thanks Stacy for letting me stalk you and track you down. These cakes are adorable!! There's many more where these came from....
Two round cakes one cut to fit the other. Frost and decorate with mini oreos for dots!! This one turned out cute. Makes me think twice about posting my ladybug.....

Thanks Andrea for letting me post your cute pictures. Wish we could have been there!!
